Horizon Worlds Monsters Arena - Arvore VR Immersive Experiences

HWMA - Trailer

Horizon Worlds Monsters Arena is a hero shooter developed for Meta's Horizon Worlds platform. In it, classic Universal Studios monsters face off in maps reminiscent of movie scenes in fast-paced, frenetic 3v3 battles.

My Contribution to Horizon Worlds Monsters Arena

  • I created the initial game design, which was approved in the proposal and carried through without major changes until delivery.

  • Brought to the game the concept of "Levolution" which proved to be a huge differential and selling point of the project.

  • Worked on skill sets consisting of one basic attack, one ability, and one ultimate, balanced for all characters.

  • Together with the team, we developed the Level Design of 3 different maps and all the specific interactions for each map.

  • Worked with the UX team to design the entire tutorial for the game.

  • I presented features and had direct contact with the client, gathering feedback, addressing issues, and clarifying doubts.

  • I worked on balancing the game and its characters.

During my time at HWMA i had the opportunity to work together with the team at three different arenas, each with their own mechanics and Levolution

My General Contribution to HWMA

I believe my contribution was important to the project. It came up as a last-minute RFP, and after several days of hard work with the team, we managed to get it approved. I learned a lot about using the world-building tools in Horizon Worlds and was able to bring my knowledge of competitive games, gained during my time as a game designer at Kinship Entertainment, to the project.
